Terms of use
By using The Clinical Reasoning you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.
The service
The Clinical Reasoning is an educational clinical case simulator run by Riccardo Binco. It is for practising diagnostic reasoning: interviewing a virtual patient, physical examination, laboratory and imaging tests, diagnosis and feedback on the path taken.
For education only
The cases are fictional, simplified and not clinically validated. The service gives no medical advice and does not replace training, guidelines or professional judgement. See also the Disclaimer.
Accounts
- You can use part of the site without an account. To save your progress, sign in with Google.
- You must be at least 14 and provide truthful information.
- You are responsible for the use of your account: do not share it, and tell us if you suspect unauthorised access.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- get around usage limits, access controls or features reserved for subscribers;
- automatically extract cases, reports, images or solutions, or republish them;
- try to make the virtual patient produce content unrelated to the case or inappropriate;
- enter personal data or health information about real people into the interview;
- use the service in a way that harms it or makes it less available to others.
Subscription
Some features are reserved for subscribers. When the paid subscription becomes available, price, renewal, withdrawal and refunds will be set out in separate terms of sale, to be accepted before payment.
Ownership of content
The site's cases, texts, scoring and software belong to Riccardo Binco or their respective owners. Third-party images, sounds and models are used under the licences listed on the Licenses page. You may use the content for personal study; you may not copy, sell or republish it without permission.
Availability and changes
We do our best to keep the service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee it: it may contain errors, be interrupted or change. We may modify or remove cases and features.
Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, Riccardo Binco is not liable for decisions made on the basis of the site's content or for damage arising from its use, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence. This does not affect the rights the law grants consumers.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. You can close your account at any time by writing to ragionamentoclinico@gmail.com.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, the courts of the place where you live have jurisdiction.
